British Desserts
A common desert for Christmas time is Mince Pies. These are little pies that contain something usually along the lines of apples, dried fruit, and spices. These are extremely popular around Britain and as already said, are very common to be made during Christmas time.

Scones are also a very popular dessert. This is served during the entire year and is usually accompanied by tea. It's usually eaten at mid afternoon for "Cream Tea". It is a small thing of bread that is usually broken apart and covered in jelly(as you might do for a bagel but with cream cheese).
Another popular British dessert is custard. Not many people know of it who don't live in Britain, but a lot of people who live in it do(I mostly know it from its appearance in Doctor Who in "The Eleventh Hour" when the newly regenerated doctor asks Amelia to make "fish fingers and custard"). It's made up of milk, egg yolk, and sugar.
